Speaker Bios:
Dr. Erlanger “Earl” Turner is a licensed psychologist and Founder of Therapy for Black Kids, an organization that provides psychoeducational workshops and resources to help Black parents promote resilience and healthy emotional development among youth. He is also the owner and chief psychologist at Turner Psychological & Consulting Services. Dr. Turner is a nationally recognized mental health expert and past-president of the Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice (Division 37 of the American Psychological Association). Dr. Tsahai Jenkins is a Junior Associate at Turner Psychological & Consulting Services. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and completed her doctoral internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Pediatric Psychology track.
